Pflugerville Pregnancy Resource Center (PfPRC) exists to love, in a Christ-like way, all women who are in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual help when facing an unplanned pregnancy. PfPRC will point these women and their families to Jesus Christ as we minister to their earthly needs.
Pflugerville Pregnancy Resource Center (PfPRC) envisions a local community where women do not experience the emotional burdens associated with abortion. To this end, PfPRC will work with local leaders and churches, providing a place of education, communication, and loving care for mother and child in order to reduce the number of abortions in Central Texas.
Our ministry is sustained by the efforts of dedicated volunteers. As client advocates, volunteers are trained in peer counseling to offer compassion, support, and referrals to necessary resources. They are equipped to help clients understand their options and form a plan during a challenging situation.
Several volunteers are also trained to perform limited ultrasounds, provide spiritual guidance, and lead parenting and life skills classes. Other volunteers dedicate their time to serve the many administrative, marketing, and fundraising needs of PfPRC.
We are always accepting new volunteer applications and offer a variety of areas to serve.
PfPRC receives no government funding and relies entirely upon donations to cover operating costs. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our committed annual supporters who include individual donors, local businesses, and current partner churches:
Other supporting organizations who have helped sustain our ministry though periodic donations and fundraisers such as the Baby Bottle Campaign include:
Pflugerville Pregnancy Resource Center provides a variety of free services to encourage women to make the choice for life and then to help them as they go through her pregnancies. Your church/organization can be a part of our vital ministry by participating in a very simple fundraiser that will inform your congregation/members about the sanctity of life and make them aware of some of the specific ways we help our clients. In past campaigns, we have seen enthusiastic participation and excellent results. This program helps to build a bond of serving Christ together in our community.
